The are many stories surrounding High Noon, its director and cast, but it is best enjoyed as a classic western that portrays courage and cowardice.
Sure, Gary Cooper was about 25 years older than Grace Kelly, but that doesn't affect the movie. They aren't even in that many scenes together.
One of the most desirable characters in the movie is Katy Jurado's Helen Ramirez. Katy (born in Guadalajara, Mexico) portrayed many strong characters in movies and on television. If you do not recognize the name, you will recognize the face.
Relax and enjoy High Noon (with the kids, too), with it's heroic characters, despicable characters and weenies.
