They are great, not because they were made in the golden era of movie-making (some we suggest are filmed later than that), they are great because they transport you for just awhile into a story with great direction, cinematography and acting. Once you begin enjoying these classic movies, you will enjoy the best of the modern movies even more -- you will understand their heritage.
